This post is inspired from a dear friend's sister and so here I am. I do not want to spoil the suspense for those of you who have not read this book, hence writing my feelings after I read the book for the very first time..
Of course, all books that I own are a favourite, though a special shout out to the Enid Blyton books.
So other than chocolates, you should know that an Enid Blyton book is a favorite gift of mine.
Coming back to the book memory that I want to write about is P S I Love You by Cecilia Ahern.
When I read PS I Love You for the first time, I was so overwhelmed by the book that I actually cried, while reading the book, the first time ever while reading a book. I have never cried while reading a book. But this one time, I did.
Of course, movies makes me emotional, and had heard that books can make you laugh and cry, yet never experienced the crying till I read P S I Love You.
A classic in all books, it is so well written. It just takes the reader to another world and the effect stays with the reader for a long time thinking about the life of Holly & Gary, the main protagonists.
I did reading other Cecilia Ahern books, though well written, they did not have the same magic as P S I Love You.
And then I saw the movie & Gerard Butler just took my heart away, making me fallin love with Gary all over again!
