Flight take-off

Flights have always fascinated me since my early years.

I had always wanted to travel on a flight, though the first time that I saw a plane from up close (without travelling on it) was a newly launched 12 seater plane way back when I was 19 years.

I was so excited, though no cameras and of course no smart phones in that era.

Yet the memory is a vivid one, and I remember each detail of that 12 seater plane even now, after a span of 24 years.

When I was 25, thanks to my first company I travelled solo on my very first flight. In those days, Pune airport was just 5 mins away from my home or a good 40 min peaceful walk.

I still remember Spice Jet had just started and I travelled via that flight to Bangalore.

Since then, became a frequent flyer and even received a Rahul David bag signed on one of the flights. Yes, was an ardent cricket fan in those days.

Anyways, had an initial phobia of take offs n landings like quite a few people had. But later on, started enjoying take offs. Used to and I still love the way the flight sails on the runway and then suddenly it is above the ground, and then up in the sky.

On a recent journey in 2024, I finally was able to take a complete video featuring a take-off, and it still fascinates me.

Something about planes has a fascination and will always remain one.

Sharing the video and photos

from my recent flight journey.
