The world of VFX

This post is a dedication to all the VFX artists out there who work real hard with concentration and dedication, and especially to my ex-colleagues from the VFX World.

VFX or Visual Effects - something which I had not heard about until the summer of 2022.

Being from a non media & animation company, it just never crossed my mind.

And then during the summer of 2022 where I got introduced to this world, where the creative artists worked towards perfection of "shots" for the movies and even games that a common man watches or plays during leisure hours!

From adding background or scenaries or people in songs, to removing the wires from the actors, or adding blood stains, it is indeed fascinating yet requires sheer amount of hard work and concentration. Yet very, very complex to a layman.

Day in and day out, the artists work hard on getting the best effects for the movie, or rather one particular shot. A one minute shot may finish with perfection in about 7 days, depending on the complexity of the shot.

We used to think that the people working in the hospitality industry work long hours, yet these guys work just as hard, and long hours, sometimes even more than the ones working in the hospitality industry.

Thus, kudos to all the creative artists of the VFX industry. May you continue to shine in your work area, and of course, we would always love and appreciate the work that you do!
